Jack Hume wins all four Provincial Championships in the one year

Congratulations to Rathsallagh Golf Club Junior member Jack Hume who yesterday won the Munster U18’s Boys Championships making him only the 2nd Junior to ever win ALL FOUR Provincial Championships in the one year…. a truly magnificent achievement.  Jack’s coach Rathsallagh's professional Brendan McDaid and all the Members at Rathsallagh are delighted and very proud of Jacks achievement and wish him all the best on what is set to be a very successful golfing career.   Jacks unique achievement started with his win of the Leinster Boys Championship in South County. He then went onto win the Ulster title in Armagh GC followed by Connaught title in Athlone GC and finally winning the Munster title in Muskerry yesterday. Jack was also on the Leinster Boys team who won the Inter Provincial Championships in Ballinrobe last week   Jacks victory is a testament to the excellent support given to Juniors at Rathsallagh Golf Club and the training facilities at the Brendan McDaid Academy in Rathsallagh

Home to important domestic tournaments, many regard Rathsallagh as the best parkland course in Ireland.  Measuring 7200 yards from the Medal Tees Rathsallagh is one of the best laid out courses you could play, several lakes and small streams meander their way accross the fairways creating a USPGA feel about the design and the greens are immaculate to putt on. Or as one of our visitors commented recently - like putting on velvet. The undulating countryside creates the perfect golf terrain which proves a great test for golfers but is fair to all.

Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from. Excellent food and beverages await you in this fine facility upon your return. Our Golf Shop stocks an excellent selection of clothing, balls and accessories, and Club, Shoe and Buggy and Electric Golf Cart Hire are all available on request.
