Look at the plan and you can see how cleverly the course designers have used the shape of the green and bunker positioning to make the shot that bit more difficult. There is very little difference in length from the differing Tees here and you need to ensure you do not leave your tee shot short if you need your par. Usually the pin is positioned in the centre of the green and although there is a small slope on the left the putting surface, as usual at Rathsallagh is fast and true and a good tee shot and first put will see you put a 3 on your card here. A word of caution. The hole looks a lot shorter than it really is due to the illusion of sloping ground. Take one club more than you may think for the best result. Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from.
