Whatever tee you play this great golf hole from makes so much difference. The Yellow or White tees afford you the chance to see more of the hole and the large tree on the left is not so intimidating. From the Blue tees, however, the hole plays so differently and is much more difficult.

As you can see there is no shortage of water here, the burns and drainage ditches criss cross the fairway making the drive very important but you still have a lot of fairway to aim at. The ideal drive is long and as near to the large tree on the left, missing the rough, as you dare. This leaves you with a clearer second shot and shortens the hole somewhat.

Not many golfers attempt reaching the green in two here because a slight mistake will see you taking 7 instead of 5. Play your second to the gap between the bunkers on the left and the start of the lake, leaving you a relatively short pitch to the green. A par here is always an excellent result and if you are lucky enough to achieve it you should feel well pleased with yourself.

Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from.
